Basic Road Safety & Basic First Aid for Driving License

Training overview

This programme helps learner drivers develop responsible road behaviour along with basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response.

The training covers road safety rules, traffic signs and signals, defensive driving awareness, accident prevention, pedestrian safety, helmet and seat-belt awareness, safe road behaviour, accident-scene safety and emergency communication.

The first aid component introduces basic response for bleeding, wounds, burns, fractures, fainting, unconsciousness and shock, along with basic CPR and emergency-response awareness. Participants also learn the importance of assessing accident-scene safety before assisting an injured person.

The programme helps participants remain calm during emergencies, contact appropriate emergency services and provide safe initial assistance until professional medical help becomes available.
